Honest Intelligence pointed out in the report that flexible perovskite solar cells, with their unique materials and structural design, have formed multi-dimensional competitive advantages. Its photoelectric conversion efficiency has surpassed 22%, approaching the level of monocrystalline silicon cells, and it uses flexible substrates such as PET, PEN, and PI, achieving dual breakthroughs in module lightweighting and flexibility, significantly reducing substrate costs compared to traditional solutions. Notably, these batteries perform exceptionally well in low-light environments, maintaining stable energy conversion efficiency in indoor and cloudy scenarios, and their 2-3 year lifespan requirement enables rapid deployment in many niche fields.

In terms of application scenarios, flexible perovskite cells demonstrate strong adaptability. Can be integrated into wearable devices such as smartwatches and fitness bands, providing long-lasting power for the device; It can create green charging solutions for portable electronic products such as mobile phones and tablets; Can replace button batteries found in electronic price tags, enabling self-charging through indoor lighting; In the automotive field, it can integrate with the car's exterior to provide supplementary power for long-distance electric vehicles; In the fields of drones and aerospace, their lightweight characteristics help reduce equipment weight and improve endurance. For example, high-temperature resistant PI film perovskite cells have already shown application potential in aerospace.



Roll-to-roll coating technology has become key to industrialization, with equipment precision and process details receiving attention



In response to the mass production needs of flexible perovskite cells, Honest Intelligent focused on analyzing the core concerns of roll-to-roll coating technology. The coating speed is controlled between 0.3 - 3 m/min, with the rear precursion process using air knife or intermittent VCD technology, a drying temperature range of 80 - 180°C, and involves the selection of single-sided or double-sided drying methods, at least three inlet filtration systems, thermal circulation energy-saving design, and compatibility with various heating methods such as electric heating and infrared lamp heating.

In terms of equipment composition, roll-to-roll coating equipment includes more than ten functional modules, including unwinding units, peel-off and winding units, plasma surface treatment units, static elimination units, dust removal units, vacuum traction, slit coating units, and precuring units. Among these, key component precision selection, corrosion-resistant material application, tension control accuracy (±1.5%), film deviation correction accuracy, coating speed, and liquid output accuracy directly affect battery performance. Taking the oven unit as an example, it must meet a temperature range of -180°C at room temperature, with temperature uniformity and stability controlled at ±2°C, and be equipped with safety mechanisms such as air chamber pressure monitoring and explosion-proof vent design.
